Welcome!

A few things about me: I spent 5 years teaching high school English at an all girls school in NYC, a job I left after my daughter was born.  I never finished my PhD in Religion & Literature; currently, I’m a writer and editor.

A few of my favorite things: my little girl, books, funny people, cafes, sunlight in the morning, words, New York City on a spring night, good wine, train travel, old photographs, baseball, Virginia Woolf, twilight zone reruns, talking, odd people, old new york, yoga, the ocean, TS Eliot’s “Wasteland,” and a good story…

A few things I like to write about: memory, grief & loss, motherhood, gender, culture, time, the intersection between memory & modern life, growing up in New York City, religion, and whatever else may pique my interest

Just wine me up and watch me go–can you recommend a good wine for me time?
